MCO : My BingeList

228

I guess most of us is on repeat mode these days or auto pilot. The day starts with logging on instantaneous mode of communication on your desktop or laptop, to make your presence known to the virtual officemates. Then, as the day ended virtually, you switch to another form of entertainment, less participative, one-way communication mostly, with the occasional ‘huh’ or ‘what??’ depending on how far engaged you are with the storytelling.

By now, you must have been binge-watching most of your wish list and perhaps looking for recommendation for the next wannabe-list.

My list got updated this week.

But in anticipation of HOMELAND Final Season premiering on 27th April, I might be starting early with the bingeing. Probably not the whole series, but the 7th season only, so that Carrie Mathison can justify the trauma or let’s just say brain fry in this new season.

HOMELAND Final Season (Season 8) *Same Day as the U.S. *
New episode Every Monday @10pm
Series Finale Monday 27 April @10pm
Starring Claire Danes, Mandy Patinkin, Beau Bridges, Nimrat Kaur, Numan Acar

Carrie Mathison is recovering from months of brutal confinement in a Russian gulag. Her body is healing, but her memory remains fractured – which is a problem for Saul, now National Security Advisor to the newly ascendant President Warner. The top priority of Warner’s young administration is an end to the “forever war” in Afghanistan, and Saul has been dispatched to engage the Taliban in peace negotiations. But Kabul teems with warlords and mercenaries, zealots and spies – and Saul needs the relationships and expertise that only his protégé can provide. Against medical advice, Saul asks Carrie to walk with him into the lion’s den – one last time.
