24 December 2019 – Christmas is a season of joy and blessings and a time to give and forgive, said Minister of Economic Affairs, YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali in his posting on Facebook today.
“In this regard, we cannot over-stress the contributions of Christians towards peace, harmony, prosperity and nation-building.
I would like to take this opportunity to call upon all Malaysians to join the Christmas festivities. ” said Azmin.
He also called all Malaysians to continue to reject the voices of bigotry, extremism and intolerance and embrace the spirit of understanding, moderation and mutual respect.
“The harmony that we enjoy today is a result of compassion, tolerance and understanding amongst our different communities” he said.
