KUALA LUMPUR, 20 February 2023 – In an attempt to escape constant bullying and rigorous military training, a Royal Military College (RMC) cadet enrolled in a debate team which saved him from self-deprecating behaviour, thinking he was a useless disappointment.
The troubled teenager who couldn’t speak English well, despite his mother being an English language teacher, not only managed to master the language but even trained himself to be an eloquent debater and ultimately became one of the youngest politicians in the world!
