GLOMAC WINS PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD AND BEST MIXED DEVELOPMENT TITLES

KUALA LUMPUR 21 June 2021 – Glomac Berhad was named winner in the Best Developers – People’s Choice Award at the recent iProperty Development Excellence Awards (iDEA) 2021 Virtual Ceremony held on 25 May recently. At the same time, the multi-award winning developer was also honored with Best Mixed Development Award Glomac’s high-rise development called Plaza@Kelana Jaya.

Held online on the social media Facebook platform, the awards is a recognition of property development in the country. This is the 4th consecutive year for the annual awards ceremony where each event raises the spotlight on the industry’s most accomplished developers and their latest developments.

For Glomac, The Best Developers – People’s Choice Award was received by FD Idzham FD Iskandar, Senior Manager of the Group Corporate Communications and Corporate Marketing unit. This award recognises the best local and international property developers based on the highest number of votes cast by the members of the public.

“We would like to thank our buyers, investors and supporters who have brought us to where we are today. This award motivates us to continue working hard and be recognised as a world class property developer.” he said.

Meanwhile, the Group’s Chief Operating Officer (Operations) Encik Zulkifly Garib represented Glomac in receiving the Best Mixed Development award for Plaza@Kelana Jaya.

“We are honoured to receive the award and would like to express our gratitude to iProperty for the recognition. Location is a big factor for Plaza@Kelana Jaya. It fronts the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) with easy access to other major roads.

Plaza@Kelana Jaya’s latest features also include work from home and study from home facilities”, he expressed when asked on what makes Plaza@Kelana Jaya special.

Comprising 696 SoHo units and 16 three-storey shop offices, Plaza@Kelana Jaya has a take-up rate of 83%. Despite the stop-work order during the first Movement Control Order (MCO) in 2020, this freehold development, launched in 2018 is expected to be completed on time by 2Q next year.

En Zulkifly added that with the extension of Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) 2021 until 31 December 2021, homebuyers can benefit from Glomac’s participating projects and enjoy stamp duty exemptions and legal fees.
Glomac’s latest developments include Primrose in Saujana KLIA, Sepang, and the Sari series (Dahlia Sari and Mawar Sari) in Saujana Perdana, Sungai Buloh.
