KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 – His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Malaysia, Dr. Dr. Waleed Khalifa Al Manea, stressed the importance of supporting and strengthening the strong historical relations between the two countries, and pushing them to further levels for the good and benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.
This came during the ceremony of His Excellency Ambassador Al Mana handing over his credentials to His Majesty the King of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim bin the late Sultan Iskandar, in an official ceremony held today at the Royal Palace (Istana Negara) in the capital, Kuala Lumpur.
Ambassador Al Manea conveyed to His Majesty the King of Malaysia the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also conveyed their wishes for His Majesty the King’s continued health and well-being and the state of Malaysia for further development and prosperity.
His Majesty the Malaysian King instructed His Excellency the Ambassador to convey his greetings to His Majesty the King of Bahrain and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his wishes for the Kingdom of Bahrain for further development and prosperity. His Majesty congratulated the Ambassador Al Manea for his appointment, wishing him success in his diplomatic mission, and stressed his full support for efforts to strengthen the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Malaysia at all levels.
On the Bahraini side, the ceremony was attended by Nouf Mohammed Al Qaed, Second Secretary at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Kuala Lumpur
