PUTRAJAYA, MALAYSIA August 28, 2024 – The Saudi Travel Authority (STA) launched the Saudi travel fair at IOI City Mall Putrajaya today. The event was officiated by Alhasan Aldabbagh President of Asia Pacific Markets at the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) who shared his excitement in promoting Saudi Arabia as a tourist destination to Malaysian.
The 5-day event starting from 28th August till 1st September will showcase the diverse wonders of Saudi catering to both spiritual seekers and travellers. It is featuring more than 15 brand-new destinations experiential packages by leading Malaysian leisure and Umrah travel agencies such as Ikhlas.com, Saudia, In Saff Travel, Rayhar Travel, Golden Destination and Apple Vacation.
Promoted destinations such Jeddah, Riyadh, AlUla are on the menu. Saudi’s cultural heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant cities is an attraction to travel afficionados. The event is also offering exciting giveaways, a chance to win an airline ticket to Saudi Arabia through a lucky draw and valuable exclusive deals discounts up to 50 percent.

With the e-visa, now it easier to Malaysian to travel to Saudi Arabia as it is one of the 66 countries eligible to apply. Malaysian now will have 90 days which will give them more time to explore the attractions.
