CYBERJAYA, July 21, 2024 – The National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang 2024 event held today was officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim.
With the attendance of over 8,000 visitors, the event, which had a carnival concept for the people, was organized in collaboration with the Selangor State Government Secretary’s Office, ministries, departments, and government as well as private agencies.
The program was enlivened through the organization of the MADANI X HKHM 2024 Carnival with the involvement of the MADANI X NADI Community booths, RIUH X HKHM, services for the people, exhibitions from various agencies, entrepreneurship sales, patriotic performances, national interactive activities, and demonstrations of local product manufacturing.
Also held was the MADANI Community Settlement program, attended by nearly 2,500 participants consisting of leaders and members of the MADANI Community from all over Peninsular Malaysia, aimed at empowering communities related to government initiatives and community involvement in enlivening the national month.
At the same event, the Prime Minister also initiated the release of the Kembara Merdeka Jalur Gemilang (KMJG) 2024 convoy that carries the Jalur Gemilang to every corner of the country with the aim of further invigorating the celebration of National Day and Malaysia Day (HKHM) 2024.
This convoy involved a total of 90 participants and 65 vehicles from the Malaysian Information Department, Royal Malaysia Police, agencies, communities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) of Selangor, and the Suzuki V-Strom Malaysia Club.
