KUALA LUMPUR, 25 April 2023 – As part of Intermark Mall’s ‘Weaving Raya’ campaign, the mall embraced the essence of the holy month of Ramadan by extending love and care to the children at Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim dan Asnaf Qaseh Ibu. In the spirit of charity and compassion, the mall organized a fun-filled day for the orphans, brimming with activities and treats.
The festivities commenced with an engaging ketupat weaving session led by Bear It, followed by a generous Hari Raya giveaway by Kingsmen Barbershop, along with haircuts at Art Cut. The little ones were then treated to a delectable buka puasa dinner at Double Tree by Hilton, KL.
Intermark Mall has also joined hands with Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur this Ramadan to weave ribbon ketupat, that were sold for RM1.00 each and were made available for sale to the shoppers as an objective of generating funds for the orphans of Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim dan Asnaf Qaseh Ibu. Intermark Mall pledged RM500 to kick-start the fund raising, and shoppers snapping up 200 more, bringing the total number of ketupat sold to 700. This heart-warming effort exemplifies the true spirit of giving and kindness to those in need. The night culminated with a Hari Raya giveaway by Intermark Mall and Jaya Grocer, leaving the children with a heart full of joy and gratitude.
