Have you tried turning it off and on again?” and “Is it definitely plugged in?”

The IT Crowd.

I came across this series on Netflix by accident. This is after bingeing on zombies from Korean and American series, and do not want to repeat conspiracy theory or dramatic plot. So, British sitcom seems like a good idea for a switch.

From one series to the next, I was hooked.

At first, I wanted to understand Jen Barber’s character, but later with the combination of Moss and Roy, this series seems harder to stop. Thus, I saved a couple of episodes per night to make it last longer, or I will be back to hunting mode again… on Netflix.

Set in a fictional Reynholm Industries, Jen Barber got a job as the head of IT department when she has no knowledge about IT whatsoever. She later branded herself as IT Manager/Relationship Manager for the department. The two nerds, Moss and Roy played by Richard Ayoade and Chris O’Dowd is not your typical IT guys and here is where the stories get interesting.

The storyline is about IT guys in the office, known but not seen, you heard them but not necessarily have to face them. The ultimate perception, they are geeks. And shy, and sometime weird. With a funny boss who shouted at monitor to ‘activate’ voice control, to the forgotten goth employee in the server room, you’ll be entertained with these folks.

Frankly, I haven’t had such a good laugh since Mind Your Language, and if straight face-cynical-jokes is your cup of tea, you’d love this as well.
